Have You Ever...
- Used alcohol or other mind-altering substances in larger amounts or over a longer period of time than intended?
- Thought about cutting down on the amount used, and found you were not always able to?
- Had alcohol or substance use interfere with important activities (work, home, school, social activities)?
- Had legal problems, such as a DUI or an arrest, associated with use?
- Had major life obligations affected by substance abuse?
- Changed your tolerance (amount consumed) amount?
- Had family members express concern?

If you have answered "yes" to any of these or find they apply to you, we can help. Our staff is sensitive to your concerns. Each counselor at AHS has a Master's degree, and most hold additional certifications. Our evaluations are confidential, and when you are ready to call, we are ready to help.

How Do You Get Started?
You will be given an assessment to aid our counselors in determining the BEST and most appropriate treatment plan. At the intake session, your counselor will make sure you understand program policies, give you a tour of the facility, and begin developing a treatment plan that fits your needs. This could include individual and/or group therapy sessions. During your individual sessions, your primary counselor will process group information on a more personal level in a confidential setting. Individual sessions are scheduled according to the your needs.
